HELP phone book question

Just bought a 06 m45 didn't have the owners manual but the phonebook is full of the prev owners numbers and I cannot figure out or find a way to delete them, any help would be great thanks

I had the same problem two months ago. I don't have the manual with me but I did not use it to figure it out.

If no one else posts the answer I'll come back later with more info.

I recall you have to delete them one at a time. Keep trying and you should figure it out.

If you access the Confirmation/Adjustments Menu and scroll to the bottom and access the connection log if you delete that it should take care of many of the old settings and locations that were used by the previous owner. I do this on every used M I get. It should set just about everything back to the original empty setting, I know this works for the phone, phonebook and a few other settings. I am not 100% if this will remove the Nav locations, though.

To access the Confirmation/Adjustments menu turn the car to the ON position (engine on or off) with the radio OFF press and hold the SETTINGS button and turn the radio volume knob until you hear a beep and the screen changes to a screen with two options, select the lower option, using the wheel scroll all the way to the bottom to find the Connection Log.

Settings -> Phone -> Phonebook -> select number -> delete

I thought for sure I deleted all of the numbers at once in my car, but I could be mistaken. I couldnt seem to find a delete all area

tried that and they are still in there, i cannot find a delete button either
