My '89 Pulsar NX is acting strange. Last Friday it wouldn't start, went over all the electrical connections and one was a little loose. Started up and I drove over an hour home, turned it off and started it a couple times over the weekend. Great problem solved.Monday, dropping off dry cleaning, come out, and it had died, tried to restart it but no joy, have fuel pressure after filter, but it won't start. all connectors good. Had it towed to a shop, but the owner says that it is intermittent, will start up and drive fine some times, others die about 3 blocks from shop. I have considered taking it home and popping all connectors and spraying with cleaner and lube and checking specs on coil packs or module. Any ideas? It is the CA18DE, with 5 spd manual.

No thoughts?am I the only one who has had this issue? The shop is saying that there is no warning, I think that my pump is erratic, but the shop said no, I have to check and see if they put a gauge in line while it is running.

Is it more inclined to quit after the engine is warm? Or does the car just quit regardless of temperature?

It has stopped when at operating temp, and it has not started after being turned off from running with no indicators, and sat for 20 mins, while in on business call.In morning when engine cold, I believe it always starts, maybe that is an indicator. I will have to check, Thanks.Any thoughts on the warm issue?
