HELP- paint chipping off emblems

hey everyone, well this winter was kinda brutal on my car...i had painted my emblems black before winter, and well....all the salt n what not made the paint start to chip.

how do i go about touching up my emblems?do i have to sand all the paint off n redo it?

use black nailpolish?lol at college fix-its, it worked on my bike.

if you're talking about the front nissan burger, I have one that's professionally painted black and nissan letters in white. it has survived this winter fine so far, if you want it, I'm selling it.

-Sand it-wash it (dish soap) let dry-wipe dust/lint off-primer (2 coats) let dry between coats-adhesion promoter-spray on color u want! let dry!!!SLAP IT BACK ON!!!!

question about this.....what kind of sand paper should i use? grit?is there special paint that i should use? and waht is adhesion promoter? lol n00b ish question sorry about that
