Ok well my SES light came on yesterday and I just got back from Autozone. I had them pull the codes for me and they said I had the P1572 code and the P0138 code. Now from the looks of it from other postings here on NICO the P0138 is the Heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2. This is the one aft of the cat correct? P1572 is the ASCD brake switch, but the problem I'm having is that I don't have a clue of where this switch it located. Should I expect any other problems with these 2 codes? Any input would be very helpful.

Correct on the 0138, but I would be sure to run a tank of premium unleaded through her (if not already) before you go through the change...

I am still looking for info on the 1572.--Mike

Thanks Mike for the conformation. I looked for the 1572 in this service manual that I have and still can't find it. The other weird thing is that now all of a sudden the SES light turned off. I've pribably turned the car off and on about 5 times since the light came on in the begining. I still want to change the oxygen sensor though just to be on the safe side. I always use premium unleaded from Shell so she should be good. I also put in one of those fuel injection cleaners every 3000 miles. Let me know if you find anything on the 0138.

The ASCD switch is located right next to the stop lamp switch. It is on the upper part of the brake pedal.

If I recall correctly, when there is an issue experienced, it will pop the code. If the condition is not present for two or three consecutive "ignition" sequences, then it will clear the SES. These things are more sensative than a teenage girl...
