Help - P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction

Battery went dead on pathfinder. While working on it and getting new battery in, cables unhooked, etc., the VDC OFF light comes on so I go through the procedure for it to go off and it does. However it appears to be driving as if still off, which is very slow acceleration as if on icy roads. Well the service engine soon light comes on. So I take it to Advance auto and they give me the P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction code. Any idea what may be the issue? Strange that it all happened at once. THanks.

Wow, the FSM provides precisely no help unless you have a Consult. Unless someone here chimes in, I'd say you need to bring it to a shop with a proper machine to tell you what's wrong.
