On my brothers 93 240, he overheated the other day. Water pump was bad and radiator had a crack in it.

I put a brand new water pump, radiator, and thermostat in the car.

I also did a compression check to make sure HG is okay, I got 150 on all cylinders.

My bleeder screw's head broke off(for the coolant), so to get air bubbles out I parked my car on an incline with radiator being highest point and just ran the car to get bubbles out...with heater blasting.

At idle it stays fine, but give it gas and after a minute or so the car starts heating up...

What else could be wrong? Air bubbles still?

If there are no leaks it is most likely air bubbles.

I'm having a kind of same problem. I believe my problem is my head gasket. I don't know if you have replaced that or not.
