92 coupe with kade.

a few weeks ago i started noticing my car would kinda buck until the motor warms up, like hiccupping as i try to accel. it goes away once it warms up, but will still occasionally hic a bit while im out driving.

also, its taking an unreasonably long time for my car to actually start. like 5 seconds of cranking before it turns over. and even then, it seems like its running on two or three cylinders, and smooths out and runs like normal.

i just had to replace my battery because i was draining the cranking amps over the past week or two starting my car.

im thinking fuel pump, but im not really sure. advice would be helpful, id really like it to be fixed.

This may have little relevance for you, but...

1. My sohc "hiccuped" upon throttle a while ago. My TPS wasn't set right.

2. My brother in law's Maxima would crank but would take forever to turn over. One of his vacuum hoses were plugged.

Sounds like you need a new engine.

MGE is sitting right next to me. He says:

"Vacuum leak potentially""MAF plug not getting a good connection""Coolant temp sensor"

probably not. ive been through a handful of them over the past few years.

id like to have a whole new set, but i dont want to spend the money to get guaranteed good injectors when im wanting to upgrade for boost down the road.
