Wats up guys, I've read a few threads and this site has already helped out a lot. My 91 Q (non active) is in decent shape, but im afraid the suspension is long gone....probably hasnt been touched its whole life, and after 180,000 miles the ride is pretty rough.... Could anyone give my a rundown on what i need to look for? For example, like what probably needs to be replaced or inspected, stuff like that. It would help a lot. Thanks guys......

by rough, how do you mean? clunky or just stiff and harsh? for a car that old, the rubber bushings in the suspension linkages are probably shot, as are the subframe bushings. replacing them all won't be cheap (labor wise) but a good polyurethane bushing kit would clean up a lot of the slop that's going on right now. other than that, replacement struts would help if your stock struts are worn out or blown. blown struts would make the car very bouncy over bumps. i doubt the springs are worn out unless the car just seems to sit way to low and doesn't have much suspension travel.

The ride is pretty stiff and harsh. I can feel every little bump on the road. Its not bouncy at all after a bump or anything like that, but would u think that the struts are still good? being this old?

And how much do u think the labor would be for installing the bushing kit, just an estimate would be cool.. thanks.
