So I went to this place today and shut off the car. Came back about 10 mins after. Started as usual and there was buzzing noise, with HICAS, antilock, LIGHTS, battery and parking brake light on. I slowly drive away and the lights go away too except battery and parking brake light. The parking brake light stays on but very dim. The antilock goes away but HICAS and LIGHTS become dim as soon I drive very slow or stop at an intersection.

The car drives just fine but the buzzing noise and lights flashing is making me worried. Could be a serious problem... :ohno:

Help me guys! I need the car badly cuz at my work there isnt really a bus route :frown:

Alternator went bad possibly? the buzzing could be the bearing or another electrical component, sounds odd, can you post a video?

Thanks for your reply.

Hmm replacing alternator should not be that expensive right? Forgot to add that this weekend we got a jvc single din cd player installed. Could it be that it is messing with some electrical component?

I will post a video later on.

I just had the same problem and my alt was overcharging the entire car, test the battery terminals with a multimeter at idle and reving the engine. It should never go over 14.4. Where is the buzzing coming from? Mine was from the fuel pump (behind drivers seat) and was fried by the higher voltage

Do you have subs? If so, there may be a short somewhere along the power cable.
