I plan to run the stock injectors with nistune. possibly upgrade injectors.

-garrett 3071r $675 new from friend
-Hx35 $475 new ebay
-Precision Turbo perhaps http://www.ebay.com/itm/Precision-57mm- ... e1&vxp=mtr

1 friend says ball bearing all the way, I think off I got 440cc's I'd be happy with 400ish'whp
Holset is good if I got 550cc's
Precision is...cutting into injector fund I would pretty much Need with this turbo regardless if try to tune on the stock 370cc's

I wont drive my car til March but the 3071 came up for me to buy so I wanna start with deciding on a turbo for safety honestly even with the 10lb actuator on my neo turbo I'm concerned to go drift/rev crazy on the ceramic wheel

The garrett is probably the best option but the cheaper holset seemed solid and the precision seems to be a bargain with it being journal bearing its only semi flaw.

Thanks for any advice you can lend me

If 400whp is your max amount of power wanted on pump fuel, then i would choose the 3071, ive ran the 3076 myself and the response was great, a precision 5857 would be a great choice as well but i feel transient response would be better with the 3071 due to ball bearing..

675 for a new 3071 is a great deal.. i sold my USED 3076 for 750

I completely agree. You can't pass up a new 3071R for $675 especially since it perfectly matches your peak power goals. The Precision will be much bigger and laggier than you need for 400 whp...plus it is $$$.

I'd go slightly bigger than 550cc injectors just to give yourself some breathing room.

Im buying it talked to my friend.

Buying injectors to make the max power of this 3071R...I could just get bigger injectors and run the precision and make 100hp more for the same cost

Whats a good option instead of welding a flange for my WG on the stock manifold? I know they have spacers between the mani and turbo with a tube off them to attach one

The best option for a non-internally gated turbo without buying a new manifold is to weld a 90 onto the manifold at the collector. You can try inserting a spacer setup and take the wastegate flow out the side, but you might run into boost control issues. It is probably worth a try because it is the cheapest method and you can always go back and change it later.
