I jsut installed my sr20! thank God. and trying to wire the S-afc 2 but when i get it wired the car stalls and it happends slowly. im afraid my wiring is all wrong. Can someone tell me exactly which one it is? is it the N3-A becasue that i what i am refering to. I have a redtop but dont know what year it is... but it does have the 62 ecu and something weird is that the head has the lines on the head like the black top.

Well you were supposed to use N3-B first of all. Not a big deal since the only difference between the two is that the tach wire needs to be moved over one pin.

Second, did you do ANY of the proper setup? Mainly choosing Hot wire 6 in 6 out? If you didnt do the proper steps listed in the instruction manual then it will not run.

Yeah, make sure it's on Hot Wire and as far as it being 6 in and 6 out.. that's for stock SR and MAF.. if it's 300Z MAF, it's different.. I think it's 4.. or something.. look in the book..

Perhaps you wired it to a constant 12 volt source instead of the ignition source.

Well I did use the N3-a diagram becasue my sr20det redtop is the most recent motor that was made. I followed the diagram and dont understand... Can someone help me get the exact pin for the ignition power source.
