Help on stereo wires, please?

Ok. I have been having a hard time trying to figure out which wires to tap into. I have a sub and amp ready to be installed but not sure which wires to tap into on the stock harness. I'm looking at the subwoofer plug which has two wires ofcourse. One is Black w/red stripe and the other is Solid Brown. Can somebody confirm to me which is positive and negative? And the harness on the OEM AMP, which is the REMOTE wire, I've read that it was Solid brown but I see two solid brown wires, can I use either? I would really appreciate it if somebody here can confirm which wires to tap into. I've been dying to put this set up into the car.

just run new wires !i ran new wires to power up my sub amp ! u dont want to run the little bitty wires the stock amp is using !! then just tap into the rear speakers for your converter and amp turnon switch and your good to go !!!

Where do i hook up my amp turn on switch and do i run that wire from my new amp or LOC to the new amp?
