i am having problem with the mph. the needle would go all the way to the end real quick then once it hit 120 the car would bog and slow down. i know i am not going 120 for sure because it no car travel to 120 in 7 second. im pretty sure it the speed governer problem.

so then i cut 1 wire on the speed sensor and now it dosent have the problem but my gauge dosent work anymore.

i was wondering what speed sensor would i use to get the mph to be accurate and what can i do to remove the speed governer?

Double check to make sure you have the proper speed sensor first. It sounds to me that it's either busted or the wrong one and sending info back to the ECU saying that you're accelerating faster than you should be.

You can use the SR S14 sensor but then you would need the JDM cluster, if you plan on using the stock 240 cluster then use the KA sensor.
