OK, so my nissan 240sx has the sr20det black top and me and a few friends took out to stock turbo and put in a t3/t4 turbo, and after running the car for a little bit it starts to bogg. It's dumping to much gas and i think one of my injectors went bad. Anyone got any idea's or anything cuz i'm stumped at this point. I need all new wiring so i think and got no idea were to get it.

Oh yea.. from the masf to the turbo how much space should thier be. i've been told that it dont matter but i dont know for sure. so yea help would be nice cuz this car is my baby (first car) and it needs to get fixed.

so ideas or anything would be great. [email protected] if u want to e-mail me

Please tell me you put a proper fuel management solution on your motor before you upgraded the turbo. If you didn't, you're going to be in a world of hurt if you broke some internals.

If it's dumping that much gas, it could be a simple fuel injector leak. A quick and easy test would be to pull the rail so you can see the injector tips and turn the key to the "on" position, but don't try to start the car. That will pressurize the line and if you have a leaky injector, it should start dribbling gas.

I would also check to make sure your spark plugs are firing properly just to eliminate that as a potential issue.

Lastly, the MAF should typically set to about 12 inches away from the turbo inlet, IIRC. If it's too close, turbulance can cause innaccurate readings.

Yeah we did the fuel right and everything on that. Well every time i put new plugs in it runs good for a mile or so then just starts to bog only when it idles and when the turbo starts up its start early around 2.3-2.5k rpm instead of 3k and when i hit anything more than 10 pounds a big black smog of gas pours out like no other.

So it should sit a foot away from the turbo which i can fix easy. Its been to a performance shop said that it needs all new wiring after they worked on it and it came out of the shop they said they cant do anything bout it.

Its loosing compression last time i checked but i am lost at this point and dont know what to do or were to start pretty much.

were can i go to get high pressure clamps to?
