hi ... newbie here

jus bought a 93 240sx hatchback for 3200$ with only 83000 miles and loving it..dont think i could find a better deal and it was nearby...

little things wrong with it here and there but ill get to that later. the important thing is the clutch... im planning on getting a swap ..so i dont want to spend to much on the engine.. as stock as possible just tune ups...

but the one things 1st is the clutch.. ill be in gear and w/o pressing on the gas i jus let go of the clutch pedal and it goes... lets say if i was to be cruising about 50mph in 4th gear and want to speed up..i gas it a little and it would jus rev up..so i know its bad..

i want to get stock clutch from dealership and dont know what to buy...they are selling the pressure plate and clutch seperate..so do i need to get the clutch disc assembly and the pressure plate assembly or what?

heres the link -> http://www.courtesyparts.com/S13_clutch.html

or unless u guys can help me find a better & cheaper clutch kit than the stock ones their selling^

thx for the help

check our advertiser specials to see who's running specials. I'm personally using an ACT clutch for now, but it's beginning to slip and have been looking to ORC and OS Giken. If you're keeping the stock KA24(D)E I'd suggest keeping a stock clutch as well. Have you called Mike at midway autoparts? They're a dealership so you'd be getting genuine OEM parts, awesome service (much better than courtesy which is the reason why I've switched from courtesy to midway) but also almost always have the BEST prices I've encontered either local with hook ups or online.
