You can obtain a drier at less than local Infiniti dealer cost by contacting one of our sponsors: infinitipartsusa.com

Each to his own. But Painful experiences has proved to us that after market AC components are essentially JUNK and have a very short life, if they work near oem specs immediately after replacement at all.

I assume yours is R12 vs R134a............be sure you get the correct dryer as they have different dessicants and demand the correct oil.

Lots depends on whether you like annual repairs or 6 year repairs and whether 10-20% less than oem cooling is acceptable.

The stuff is designed for Used car lots to get a used car out the door with somewhat working AC for a quick sale.

well it's not r12, it's r134a, and it's the right dryer. nothing is aftermarket, the compressor is refurb but comes with a 1 yr warranty. i'm not keeping the car more than 2 years anyway (want less doors) but i appreciate the concern.

FYI Tech, all J30 are R-134a.

That's the way they came from the factory with R134a, you would be surprised at how many were reverse retrofited to R12 or substitutes to try to gain some extra cooling........why I asked.

You always use a gas identifier and never take the used customers word..........very weird mixtures out in AC world. No fun to contaminate a 30 pound tank and throw it away.
