I didn't think.
This car was so pristeen that I just bought it without even driving her.
20,000 miles. Belonged to a little old lady.
What do I need to do in order to make sure that problems don't arise from sheer age of the vehicle? (plenum, etc)
Pearlescent, tan leather, silver/gold BBS original wheels.
This is my first Infiniti. (sold my 1963 Corvette with 38000 original miles, in order to make room in the garage)
The only other Nissan I've owned was a 1996 300zx convertible. Sold her to a friend. Still regret that.
When you have time, check to see if they are BBS are just look alilke. I never have seen gold on the OEM BBS forged wheels.aardgator wrote:Pearlescent, tan leather, silver/gold BBS original wheels.
Please post up some pictures of this beauty before... well... it's gone!aardgator wrote:My daughter CRUSHED the front wheels into the curb.
Oscar Wilde is reputed to have said, "Youth is wasted upon the young."captainluigi wrote:I believe that was George Bernard Shaw's quote!!!
Youth is a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children. George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950)captainluigi wrote:It is widely reputed that Captainluigi said;''Between the idea and the reality the shadow falls''. But in actuality that quote is authored by MR. T.S. Elliot.
I am sure you see the distinction.

Also, please advise:
I can replace the two original BBS wheels for $700 APIECE, or I can sell two, along with the FOUR original locking center caps.
If I can find two replacements for a modest price, I'd buy them, and sell these gold basketweave wheels which I bought from a great guy in Oregon (infinitoptions.com)......
Advice is welcome.
