HELP ON 1991 STANZA transmission LEAK!

i was hoping if someone has replace a transmission filter with the gasket , cause mine it just started to leak but i looked under the car and i did not find the transmission oil pan, is the one attach to the transmission cause its front wheel dive automatic, how hard is it? do i have to dissemble the transmission in order to change it? do i only need only one gasket or more , if someone has done it , can you give and idea .. any help i will appreciate...thanks..........

You should only need to remove the transmission pan and replacethe pan seal.

i could not find the transmission oil pan under the 1991 stanza is an automatic with front wheel drive. unless is the ones attach to the transmission but it looks like i have to take some transmission attachments ...

is the car leaking? nissans dont use a paper filter for the trans. if the pan is leaking replace the gasket. normally there is no reason to replace the screen. yes the pan is on the bottom of the trans.

yes is leaking from the gasket but it looks so weird that i'm 100% that i have to dissemble some of the transmission cause is a front wheel drive and the transmission is sideways and very small compare to other ones .....i only want to put the gasket but still looks a little complicated but i'll try to get some pics....over the weekend

The pan is on top of the trans.

yes , it is i found it , kind of weird to be on top. do you what kind of transmission fluid is better for this 1991 stanza automatic.
