help on 180sx tail lights.........

i brought a set of 180sx tail light.......everything fit to my 90' 240sx...but the plugs are not the same size.....does anyone knows where i can get the harness adaptors or how to rewiring them...

Are you talking about the light sockets not fitting into the 180 lense housing...I was planning on purchasing the conversion set for my 91 and if this means I will need new sockets or a different harness I would like to know also..I hope someone can help ya with this so we will both know...

You have to use the sockets that come with your tailights. if you didn't get the sockets then you got ripped off. Without them the lights are useless. All you need to do is figure out which wire goes to what and cut and splice. If I have time tomorrow I will look and see if I can get the wire colors from my car. But again you do need the sockets with wires or it will not work. you cannot use your existing bulb sockets, they won't fit.

Yea cut and splice, or go to Radioshack or something and see if they have any sockets that'll fit.

Does anyone know if any other sockets will fit these lights...and wahbosiao..if you get something to work can ya let me know... also justmerging..did your kit come with new plugs?
