On an '89 240Sx KA24E SOHC, I have a lot of oil coming out the valve cover hose to the Injen intake, and out the HKS air filter. Does anybody have a clue why?! Still driveable but I still need to fix this ASAP!

Yeah, PCV is for pressure ventilation from the crankcase, so replace your PVC, it's on the right side of the intake manifold. PEACE. Tek.

Check your blow by. Put your hand over the oil filler hole while the engine is running.

I just replaced the PCV valve about 3months ago. Any other ideas?

do you have the aiv hooked up, and besides the pcv, which comes from the crank case, check the hose that goes from the valve cover to before the throttle body, see if that has oil in it.

yea my car has the same problem, and yes, it seems that most of the oil is coming from the valve cover into the hose that leads to the throttle body. i also have removed my AIV, so i dunno if that could be a reason. but the problem is, not some but nearly ALL of my oil is GONE and it seems like it all got dumped into the throttle body and out from the air filter. right beneath my filter is a big ol puddle of oil, and my oil is all gone. can anyone help?!?

Sounds like you have serious blow-by on that engine. If I were you I'd do a compression and leak down test and see what the numbers are. There's a good chance your oil control rings and/or your sealing rings aren't doing their job anymore and are letting oil get pumped out of the engine. Do all the basic tests and they'll tell you what's up.

Low compression numbers means the top rings are toast, if you have significant leak down you might want to plan a rebuild or swap.
