help nox off the chart ! CA

got a 90 240sx .so i went to state ref today, visual checked out fine, passed everything on emmisions really well exept for the last part(nox) i measured 1906 at 15 MPH when max is 807 and 1864 at 25 when max is 746! my egr is opening anmd closing fine as well as my bpt . only thing that i think i could have gotten mixed up was with the sensor for the pulse injection that is at the bouttom of the bracket of the little black box at the driver side of the engine. there are twu vaccum lines one with a red strip around it (which is teed off with a line going into the intake) and one with a white strip around it. i had the white line going into this sensor and the red one to a hard line that is next to it. could this have been my problem? are coukld it lie somwhere else? please lmk, thanx. also the car opasses fine in feb, 05, but had been sitting for 6 months. the cat seemed fine the guy i got it from said he had just passes smog with it. please help me out guys, i have ref on mon again.

check your EGR. make sure the vaccum line that comes off the acuator doesnt have a leak.

thanx checked it , actually replaced all the vaccum lines when i had the motor out

so when you push up on the diaphram of the egr, does it stumble? have you checked for collapsing vac lines?

yeah it stumbles, and if i rev it i can feel the valve opening and closing, checked the bpt valve for leaks also, its all good
