Thanks for the info. I did smell a weird smell for a second but couldn't trace it as it went away too fast. After checking everything, I decided to jump the plug for the starter relay to see if that might have went bad. Found out the relay was bad. After jumping the plug, it started right up. Does the starter relay have something to do with the factory security? My light isn't coming on or flashing at all like it used to (ie taking the key out and opening the door, having the hood open, etc.). Could it be that they are working together somehow? I know the factory security can cut the ignition as a theft thing, but this would be the other way around. Maybe since the relay isn't there it isn't sending a signal to the security, therefore crippling it altogether...Ziggy1621 wrote:First thing is to find out where the 'spark sound' came from. A Hot touching? A ground loose? Look for anything burnt looking... And try to smell around under the passenger dash.
The other thing that comes to mind is the main fuses by the battery, check those
