Hey

The Car: 1989 240sx

The Problem: Overheating

The D/L: ok so the car overheats when i am stuck in traffic and moving at a snails pace. But it seems to cool down when i start moving. My question is, is it the water pump the rad or the clutch fan?

The car runs ok when there is no traffic by the way.

could be any one of the parts you listed. check your clutch fan after it is good and warm. try to spin it it it just freewheels it is no good. if it only spins a little bit and stops its ok. I would venture to guess your radiator has restricted flow and need replacement.
