Help, newbie looking for S14 Vertex (or similar) Kit

Hi,

I'm pretty new into the tuning world. I have a 97 240sx S14 That I want to put a kit on. I really want the JDM Silvia look, and the style of kit I really like is the Vertex S14 kit (not the ridge!) Problem is they sell for about $1699 which is way out of my budget. I 'd appreciate anyone who has knowledge/experience in this to help out a feller newbie S14 owner

1. Is the Vertex Kit worth it - is it better quality than other knockoffs , and does it have perfect fitment?

2. importfan makes a similar kit (B road front) using a "blue gel" that looks quite good and is half the price. Problem is I hear their stuff sucks (cheap fibreglass and poor fitment). Anyone have success with this one? Any comments?

3. Any other kits I should consider with this look? Any suggestions where to look?
