Help!!! New Member! My key fob doesnt make the car honk anymore...?

When I tried to lock the car using the keyfob, the horn does not sound. I thought the horn might have stopped working but it works when I press it. What should I do?

There is a way to make your car silent when you activate the alarm so that the horn doesn't honk. Check your owners manual for intructions on it. It usually takes pushing a couple of buttons at the same time. This maybe happened when the remotre was in your pocket. Check the owners manual and you should get your answer to have it honking again when you activate the alarm. Hope it helps you dude.

The manual had no instructions to disable/enable the horn when pressing the lock button on the keyfob. Pressing the lock and unlock at the same time seemed to reactivate the horn. Messing around with the buttons worked out. Thanks.

i thought the same thing when i had got my car and read my manual, but after finding out how to do this online, then later looking back in the manual... it DID have it in there... lol idk how i missed it

Press your lock and unlock button simultaneously until the lights flash. To reverse, simply repeat the process.
