Help New KA enignes not new to Nissan

Here is my issue. I bought a 92 240sx hatch and bought a KA24DE soon after. The issue with this is the 240 was sorta parted out but still has main componets under the hood. Me and a friend of mine put in the KA. The issue i am haveing is the enigne harness. The KA came out of a 96 240. Like i said i am new to the whole engine game and still learning. The enigne has pulls that the enigne harness doesnt. I am taking it that its not a plug and play kinda thing. Just looking for some words of wisdom from most people that know the issue. So far we have replaced a lot of things on the car from a local pick and pull. Just need to know the difference in the engines and what to do. Thank you for the help.

Need an intake mani and distributor from S13 ('91-'94) to put on the '96 engine.

If you search "S14 KA into S13" you should find plenty of topics going over all the details.

Or if you understand the difference between OBD1 and OBD2 your golden.

OBD2,1? Not quite sure what that it is? Could you explain a little more. I have the enigne in the car already. I need the hoses and pipes hooked up. I am still not sure about the wiring harness its just donest look right to me.

So far i am on the right path. I found a 96 engine harness. So it should only be a matter before it will be up and running. I got ahold of the manif and still working on gett the Dist cap. Thanks for the help. BTW when i looked at the ECU it says CA on the back. Is that a bad thing?

You shouldn't need a '96 harness. You should be using '91-'94 harness along with '91-94 ECU in the S13.
