Help! new here, fuel cutting out

ok, i have a few small holes in the top of my gas tank and was wondering if that might be the reason why the fuel is cutting out. no vaccum? i dunno, need help.

the holes came from the previous owner, who thought it would be a good idea to screw his stereo system down above the gas tank.

Go to napa. Buy their little sealer kit; its made for gas tanks. Drop the tank by dropping 1 side of the rubber mounts and fix the screw hole. I did on my old s13. Never even smelled a leak again.

to get to the s14 gas tank i would need to drop the rear subframe wouldnt i?
