Boys and girls, I need your help to decide which wheel to buy:I have the money and the permission from my wife (go figure) and just can't make up my mind.I am really struggling between SSR GT3 19" that weights 25.6 lb per wheel.

and Volk racing RE30 18" that weights 16.5 lb per wheel.

I think 19" SSR GT3 will look great however I am concerned :1. About the weight difference between the 2 (25.6lb vs 16.5 lb).2. More expensive tires for 19".3. That I have to be more careful with 19" and low profile tires.

Please help me to make this important decision. Volk Racing RE30 18" or SSR GT3 19"?Thank you in advance.

I had SSR GT3's on my BMW. Personally I don't think touring style wheels like these look good on the a/c.

Between the two, I prefer Volk racing's RE30

Do you think the Volk will shine in the looks department if I go with 235/45/18?

Damn you Volk.

You can buy a set of 4 crappy wheels for the price of one Volk. Wish I had the bank for 'em

come on man... look at the difference... you are gonna go 1 inch bigger for a wheel that is 25% of the quality, and 2x the weight of the volk... I mean if money isnt a factor... grab the volks, get yourself an eibach kit.. and be the envy of the kids on the block

Now SSR GT3's are great rims. They are 3 piece, with hand forged sections, hand assembled, and hand painted in Japan. They are a very quality wheel, but they are $$$$

I wish. I would not be asking for opinion. I would just buy a set of wheels for each brand, or better yet, just buy the Skyline.

Let's say, early midlife crisis...
