help needed

all right i have serched the sight and it dose not seem that this problem has accored yet i have an 08 V and when i use the remote to unlock or lock the doors it dont beep or flash the light at all earlyer today when i locked it the horn did not seam as loud as normal and when i got home the doors locked but there was no beeb or flash so i was wondering if anyone might have an idea of the problem thinks for you help

alright thinks for the info ill give it a try in the morrning maby it will also fix the dome light problem too if not ill just keep it off its an easy fix but thinks for the info

This could be one of a few reasons...

Open and close all your doors, including the hatch (or trunk)

If that doesn't work, then you COULD have disabled the honk on lock.To fix: hold the lock and unlock at the same time until the four ways flash.

If that doesn't work then you just disabled the honk on lock, repeat the step above.

Also you could check to see if one of the terminals of the Horn came disconnected or if the Horn fuse blew.

thinks for the susgin it turned out that the wife did not shut her door all the way last night when we got home if i woud have walked around the car i would have found it thinks for making me think of it
