help needed please

ok first off yes i have searched but i seem to not be able to find any specific information. So yea doing the beloved Auto/manual Swap and have most of the parts to do this but still confused about the transmission i need to get. First off i have a 1995 240 SX auto non abs and no Vlsd :-( . With that being said first thing that comes to mind is yea ODB1 no bid deal got it means i dont have to worry about the sensor on top of the trans the Speed sensor or whatever it is. So considering finding a trans is being difficult what year is a good donor car. I know your gonna say same year as car and all that but what i am wandering is that if the 91 - 95 trans (odb1) and the 96 - 98 (odb2) are they generally the same? With that being said thanks all who take the time to look. Oh and detailed info is a plus thanks all.

Any s-chassis 5 speed from a ka or an sr should work fine.
