I'm installing 2 DVC Alpine Type R's in a single enclosure box (one box, open inside with 2 holes cut for the woofers) with a single interconnect and was just looking for feedback on how to wire the box.

I'm pretty sure I run a + speaker wire from the interconnect on the box to both Sub A and Sub B, then on each sub cross that over to the other + connector, then do the same for the negative, making sure all pairs of wires are the same length. Am I correct or should I be going about this another way?

If you need a diagram to see what I'm talking about I can draw one up, or if you have a diagram showing how I should do it that would be great, but I'm just looking for someone experienced opinion before I go ahead and wire it up.

What you're describing sounds like you want to wire them in parallel, which is fine, but you need to pay attention to the impedance of your subs, and match it with your amps output. What is the resistance of your subs? And what amp are you using?

I'm running a set of 10" 2ohm DVC Alpine Type R's (1500watt max/500 watts rms) with a Kicker ZX750.1 mono amp (750 watts rms x1 @2ohms). Its a little under powering the subs, but I'm not really looking for HUGE power, just enough, and later in the future if I find the amp isn't driving the subs enough I can upgrade it if need be.

Heres a diagram (sorry for the crude drawing) of the 3 ways I figured I could wire it. Red being the positive wire, and blue being the negative. I'm pretty sure option 2 will short out the amp, but I included it in the choices since thats how my friend at work told me to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So your wiring your 2ohm voice coils in series to raise impedance to 4 ohms, then wiring boths subs in paralell to bring it back down to 2ohms.
