Not a bad idea Wes...Wonder if PopPop has one available?elwesso wrote:the easiest thing for you to do is get a complete 90-93 ECU harness!
I know Greg that 89-92 transmissions are the same! 93&94 are the same and 95 are one year only may have to switch it out and may not! Might have to swap out TCU because ECU still works with TCU as a unit for Optimum Performance! You will also have to switch to the 90-94 MAF!AZhitman wrote:Anyone? Bueller?
I just have to think it is a real step backwards to try to mate a pre 1994 engine harness to a later loom. Seems like it would have to be custom and thus expensive, or time consuming.Q45tech wrote:Careful about harness swapping as AC aux fan is controlled by ecu.
Really? Not for me, but it is a two speed unit where the earlier is a single speed.elwesso wrote:The aux fan idont think woudl be an issue since it doesnt come on unless the engine is technically overheating, and i know greg uses AC most the time, thus itd be on for the AC anyway.
The FY33 has this superior configuration.AZhitman wrote:Hell, I may add two low-draw, high-CFM e-fans anyway.
Lest I create confusion, these fans are primarily for the condenser. It still retains the viscous clutch engine driven fan for the radiator.AZhitman wrote:Good. Done deal.
Where's that Dennis guy when I need him...
