So I'm replacing the head gasket tomorrow, but unfortunately I still haven't received the shop manual I ordered on Amazon. The car is a 1981 280ZX Turbo. Anyways, I need to know what to torque the head bolts to after installing the new head. I was planning on tightening them in three steps to get a good seal, but I need to know what the final torque value should be at.

Also... are the stock bolts TTY? If so I'll need to pick up some new head bolts this evening if I can find them at the local NAPA.

yesthey are toque to yield, so you are supposed to replace them, I've snapped new ones, for me it's ARP or nothing

stock is 58-65 ftlbs, I think the arp's specify 65 IIRC
