Help! Need to fix a coolant line...cant figure out how to replace

The other day my CA18DET started to spike a little in heat so i pulled over and noticed that I was leaking coolant through a pinhole...although at a decent rate. The hose that is leaking is a rubber hose between the air intake and the block just above and towards the firewall from the thermostat. (Make sense to anyone?) right around where the injectors are. I removed the rubber hose and found that it was covering a 2mm gap between two nipples. Now I have no idea how to get a new hose over these. I can not figure out how to remove the hardline, it will not move back at all to allow me to get a hose on, but i can not see where it is anchored. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your description does not make sense at all, the air intake and the firewall are pretty far apart. I believe you are talking about a 3 inch peice of rubber hose under the throttle body near the 1st injector? Am i right? If so just take off as much as you can for intercooler piping and vacuum hoses and just replace the hose with heater hose. Problem solved.

Edit: The hardline is mounted to the intake manifold in 2 places, remove all those thick *** metal brackets that support the manifold and you will see where exactly they are. Loosen the hardline adn it should give you enough wiggle room to get the hose off.
