help...need to clean headlights

what is the best way to clean my headlight lenses? '01 frontier crew cab. they are very hazy and a bit yellow. do they need to be cleaned inside AND out? how do i go about accessing the inside part? cant really find detailed instructions on how to clean the inside.

Autozone and other parts stores have a mequires headlight cleaning kit. Plastic polish and a ball for the drill, they do good cleaning the yellow haze. No need to do insides it is cheap plastic faded and yellowed by ultra violet light.

I'm a big fan of Novus Plastic Polishes for this type of thing. It's a three step deal, that works great.
