Help, need to change R&P Bushings...

I need to change the two bushings that support the Rack & Pinion (Steering gear assembly) in my 240 1990.

i have already have the two bushings, i like to know if i can put this bushings w/out remove the entire R&P. the are an open bushings, (you can open...)

i wondering if i can put them only with remove the nuts in the brackets... or need more job to do...(can do "Do it your self" or need a mechanic), i now i have to align te whhels after that...

you should just be able to unbolt the bracket holding the bushing to remove the old bushing and the slide in the new bushing around the R&P... when i did mine it was a piece of cake... as for alignment i just did one at a time, so i would not throw off my alignment too bad... but discovered i didn't need an alignment until after i did the alignment... good luck and speed safely...
