Help need on Clutch Parts...

Hi

i've a 92 nissan 240sx and i'm planning to change the clutch, i found a 88-90 nissan 240sx clutch disc and pressure plate from a junk yard dealer, does this fit into my car..any suggestions would be appreciated, i don't want to spend $200 on it when i'm not sure whether it fits in the car..hope u guys understand..

It should fit.Don't forget to machine the flywheel.

Dude for another $50 you could get a Centerforce Stage 2 or something comperable, rather than junkyard parts!

For $150 you could have new parts. Don't put in a junkyard clutch. Unless you just really enjoy pulling your transmission.

i agree with sts and jnm- pulling the transmission is not an easy task, get new parts! This is one area where its DEFINATELY worth buying new parts because it will save you loads of time and headaches.

hi guys

the parts i'm buying from the junk yard are not used and r new ones still in package. i'm thinking of getting them for bargained price, say less than $150...

hey ninjak84, u said that i've to machine the flywheel ?????, is it tough job and can any good mechanic can do it...

onemore thing i checked with the nissan parts dealer, the guy behind the counter said it might not go into the 92 model...i'll wait for some more of ur replies, and then plan to get it...
