I used my KA-DE alternator. Had to swap pully and grind a little flange off behind the pulley so it wouldn't bind. The SR pulley is 5 rib and the KA is 4. You also have to use the KA tensioner.
I was able to make the switch in about 30min., but the motor was out of the car at the time. AND, that is not exactly "drop in".
