i have an 03 coupe and am looking to replace the stock shocks with something that does a better job in softening the bumps and jolts on the road. i am not interested in getting anything that will lower the car since my aftermarket front bumper is already lower than stock.

any reviews on tokico hp, koni, bilstein, etc ....

Shocks usually last 4 years and ~~ or 60k..........noone makes a softer than oem shock, however adjustables usually have 1-2 positions that might be a little softer on rebound.

Impact harshness maybe from non oem tires or exceeding the low oem spec for inflation.

Socks and rubber bushings in suspension have about the same life since ozone attacks the rubber and turns it hard before it begins to crack.

Do you have wheels and tires that weigh more than oem? How about body kits?
