Ok... basically, when ever I hit a bump (ocasionally speaking), my speakers cut out and I can't hear anything till I hit another bump (or sometimes they just won't come on again). I know its not my radio, because it's still playing... I just don't hear anything. I'm an audio noob... I have no clue on what to do.

background: I have an aftermarket cd player (some alpine unit) that I installed myself after I took out my old radio that was there when I bought the car. There are speaker/ amp wires under my passenger seat... but the previous owner removed his amp and box. Thats all I can think about...

what do you think the problem is?

I did take the head unit out... I didn't notice anything un-wired or un-plugged LOL.. I even did it while driving as the speakers cut out...

maybe you should just pick up a really cheap set of brand new speakers from walmart and install them in the back and see what happens..if they never cut out then your speakers are all bad..seems like wierd odds but its just a thought..and on another note where did you get that front lip? could you send me the direct link i'd appreciate it thanks bud

well my front speakers are fairly new (about a year old). those cut out as well =/as far as the lip... i think i got them from streetbeatcustoms.com go on their site, and search "xenon" and it should be listed as the front air dam or something like that. Call them up and place a phone order, its just safer that way so they don't accidentally send you a pignose version or something like that.
