Help!! my s14 eats batteries

Im having difficulty diagnosing a problem with my S14. When i park the car/overnite the battery keeps going dead, no i did'nt leave any thing on, has any one else had similar problems? im sure you guys know more about sr's and 240's than me so any suggestions would be helpful

You either have a bad diode in your alternator, a accessory that stays on or some wiring problems. Has it always done this? If it just started have you changed anything since it started.

The only thing i changes was a cracked battery connector, thats what i thought the problem was but when i fixed it... nothing, i looked for any thing left on couldn't find anything. Im daryl by the way.

just remembered something, my head unit and oil pressure gauge have been freaking out. the cd player turns itself on and off and the gauge jumps wildly from 0 to 30 to 70

take a look at your 12v going to you radio for memory.

got around to testing for an electrical short today, i hooked up a volt meter in series with the battery and found 2 fuses that when removed each dropped the voltage from 12.6 to 11.4. Ive only seen tests done with a light not a volt meter so im not sure... do you guys think this could be the short?

sounds like its your radio has a dead end and causing the battery to drain.. It only takes about 8 hours to kill a battery pushing 12v's to no where
