Well,I just traded my infinity q45 for a 92 240sx with a 94 redtop (one with cooling fins on the head)

Anyways, got the car and it was a mess, i have gone through and been fixing alot of diffrent things.

The car is aparentally running a KA maf, has been running great for the last week i have owned it.....

I Sea Foamed my motor, and then let it idel for a few minutes and then shut it off....I then fired it up and went down the road no more then 50' and gave it a little boost and then, my tach just fell...lost all ignition...

I push the car back to my house, and find out the white and black wire could have touched on the MAF, becasue the wires are exposed.....

I tired to check the codes but i could not get anything from the ecu......so i pulled harness off the ecu and there is no power to the ecu when key is off and then with key on there was only one wire with power

I got nothing from the injectors, i'm not sure how the cps works on these cars but i wasnt getting any signal out of the cps either

I'm sorry i'm new to nissans, but not new to cars, i have a fully built mr2(I mean fully, twin disk clutch, aem standalone, built motor made 448rwhp 455tq @14psi all done by me)

and to top it all off i got an email saying i have a 3 day weekend class this weekend, starting today at 7pm..and i wasnt supposed to have this class till the middle of the term, not the 1st week...I need to drive about 100miles and my mr2 is at my parents house which is about 300miles away

I searched and searched, but i couldnt find anything and my 10amp efi fuse looks fine

thanks a tondavid

Check all your fuses and relays, which I'm sure you've done, just have to cover all bases. Any chance you may have fried your ECU? I'm good friends with a few supra owners and one of them fried theirs with a short. I'm not completely sure this is the case but you said you weren't getting any codes ECU and only one wire had power.

i'm not sure it acts like a poped fuse or something but isnt the only ecu fuse right by the battery?

thanks david

Not 100% sure but I believe so. It probably isn't a fuse but always check th stupid stuff first. If all all your fuses and relays check out then move on to the ecu. Anyone else with ideas??? I'm just helping to diagnose, not really sure what it could be.

Might want to chage your plugs as well after running sea foam.
