Hello all. I finally got my Y33 1997 with 75k senior citizen miles on it .Only thing wrong is the left rear side is lower than the right side by 1 3/4 inches.I'm guessing I need new shocks and springs. My question is what else should I look at?Thanks.

That's quite a drop. I can't imagine that worn shocks would do that. Similarly, amissing spring isolator might lower it 1/4" I think either a spring is broken or there's an anomaly in your measurement.

ditto. Do marbles roll towards that side of the car on the dash, regardless of car location? I.e. your measurements are off, or the car would drive so badly you'd have it at the mechanic asap.

Also, check your tires. Maybe one blew, and the previous owner put on a different size.

Its possible your springs are sagging, and you need to replace one...

Best to just inspect and see whats going on.....

best to measure from the center of the rim to the fender, not from the ground!!!

Check your tire pressure first... Make sure that all the tires are around 35PSI.

Slightly off topic, but are you saying all 4 tires should be the exact same COLD pressure, and in this case (or in all cases?) 35psi?

Living in the South and having my car in sunlight all day, with temps 94+ 7 days a week, I guess I got used to a slightly lower pressure, and although I cannot find it now, I could have sworn that somewhere in a manual or something my FY33 was recommended to keep the front higher than the back....

Hey guys thanks for the input, yes I've checked psi on all four and are the same (I put new rims &tires from my 04 350Z) these tires have less than 500miles on them. I'm gonna order JIC or Tein coilovers from Stillen, what parts do I need to install them?

Generalyl speaking I run about 40/38 front/rear but it takes a lot of playing to get it just right!!!
