so i just bought a 91 s13, it has the original ka and transmission with 255xxx miles,

what do you guys suggest i do to keep this motor alive and well?i want to be able to take it to the track and still survive

what do you guys suggest?

before you romp on it at the track, give it a full tune up, oil change, flush all your fluids and replace with new. once you have it running smoothly with fresh blood, perform a compression check and a leak down test to see how well it's stood up to all the mileage. if it all checks out, get some decent pads and rotors on all four brake corners, change your bushings out, then try her out at the track.

yep. it just had all the gaskets replaced.

the only thing that i may be worried about is the rings....

compression test will let you know how the rings are.
