Checked all fuses I assume, including fuel pump fuse?

The J30 is an interference engine, so I assume it wouldnt just keep cranking if the timing belt snapped like on a non-int motor...?

Similar problem happened to me. The car flooded and fouled the spark plugs. Here is the link.

Try some brake cleaner on 'em. Just don't abrade the surfaces or change the gap.

Your plugs should be fine if you just put them in. I didnt suggest that the fuses are blown, but to fix the flooding condition you would have to possibly pull one or both and try to start the car.

I assume you mean it doesnt start and doesnt turn over? If so then the first thing I would check is the battery, then the cables going from the battery to starter, and last check the starter itself.
