help my engine sucks

I have a ka24e and it started knocking loudly today. Its kinda been just sitting for a few weeks and just started the knocking today. It sounds like the noise is coming from the head/intake manifold side. It's loud, not to mention the ticking from the timing chain already. Theres a thread right now about a thrown rod...I wonder if this has happened to me??? Please i need help/advice. Thanks.

well, usually a spun bearing doesnt just happen especially from just sitting around, I would lean more towards making sure that the oil pump hasnt lost its prime or maybe an accessory is actually making the noise

i see... im gonna find time in the next few days to take off the valve cover and examine it. It sounds like its in the head

it could quite possibly a lifter that has bled down and wont pump up if you say it sounds like it is in the head and it has set for a while
