Help: my drivers window stuck due to snow...

Hi my name is sam and im brand new to the forum. Just recently bought my 03 touring 350z with the orange interior. Cars been wonderful but im here today because the window is stuck. any suggestions? ty.

Welcome to Nico!wow I wouldn't have thought of that as a potential issue! well once you get it opened, be sure to add plenty of siliconized vynil and rubber treatment to the weather stripping, this should keep the water from bonding to the surface and freezing you're door shut again, as for getting it opened, heairdryer? pour on some windshield washer solvent (the no freeze type)

I have an '03 Performance and I had to have both power window motors replaced. Basically what would happen is when I hit the window button the window would move about an 8th of an inch and go back. If they havent been replaced it could be a potential problem.

The things a mess, literally a mess.First, the dealership wants to charge me 480 dollars for a motor.. then i call the place i get it from and they say no charge. Fine. Then today the window goes down and its stuck. I know if you live in Virginia its like 30 F outside... yeah my luck.

If you hit the door panel with your fist it should get it to go back up if you havent got it fixed yet. Im in Maryland so I feel your pain on the weather.

my driver window motor is busted. . dealer doesn't want to fix it because apparently, my warranty hasn't kicked it.

your warranty hasn't kicked it? you mean kicked in? are we talking about factory warranty or the high commision one they try selling you when you buy anything these days?

HELP... today I was just cruising around with the windows down cause it's actually starting to warm up here and my passenger window won't go back up! It has been icy and cold lately and my windows have been freezing. When I push the "up" button I can hear the window up/down control switch clicking on the passenger side... is it the switch or my window motor??

update :

tried the bang on the door method and it went right back up. Haven't rolled it down all the way again just to be safe and I have ordered another motor from nissan. I hope i'm spending my money wisely.
