Hey I need some help please. I have a 91 S-13 SE. I hit a box on the freeway at about 95 mph. It cut my clutch line. I then rigged it and got it home. However, doing so burned the clutch, killed the master cyl ( due to motor oil ), and the box took care of the slave cyl. So I had all replaced. But, now when its cold, the clutch work alright for a while, then the pedal get firm, and then it slips. When the air temp is hot, the pedal is already firm ( no free play ) and it slips so bad that it wont stall when i put in first gear. I thought air bubble. I bleed the line, no bubble. The fluid level is fine. not max. right in the middle. When the pedal is firm I let some fluid out the bleeder screw, and its fine for a while. It seems like the fluid is being blocked from going back into the master cyl.Im stumped...what do you guys think? Any help is always appreciated. Thanks.

still hooked into that clutch damper box on the chassis? i heard that some of them are air traps.. but since u bled the system, this may not be your problem.

It was a biaatch to bleed mines when my master and slave cyl changes... i had aftermarket raybestos on both...it failed me after a year... part replacement were free, labor wasn't. maybe you also have a defective part; it can happen.

i'm gonna replace the hose and bypass that clutch damper next time i do a clutch job... mine's isn't broken down yet soo i'm not gonna fiddle w/ it.

i just have a lifetime warranty clutch hose from napa sittin in my garage for the next failure to happen.

good luck w/ tracking it down. hopefully it's not an internal problem w/ the clutch fork/throwout bearin.
