Mine smells like gas because of a bad fuel pressure regulator. It is allowing too much fuel to the injectors. This is making it blow fuel past the o-ring.

well you definetly have a leak someplace... be it at the injectors or elewhere, you wouldnt be smelling gas if it was staying where it was supposed to. I'd really get on top of that and find it ASAP if I were you.

my g/fs crappilier had aa awful gas smell as well...I overlooked the small leak several times...Check each injector carefully and work your way back...By the way avoid smoking cigarettes while doing this you could end up with more than a leak...hahaha

You may have to tweak how your injectors are working, i had an oldsmobile that did that for a while, it was TRYING to burn alot of gas, but all of it didnt burn, so the exhaust would heat it and the whole car and about 10 ft around it would smell like gas.If all else fails, you can buy a million of those pine cented air fresheners.;)

My interior doesn't smell like gas. Not sure on fuel economy as I really don't monitor it.

Mine reeks of gas, but it probably has something to do with:

Taco Bell + heated seats.

You have to fix leaky fuel injectors promptly. I know for the Z31 that was a major recall that caused car fires.
