Allright everyone, I have yet another problem.

I have a 95 240 with a S13 redtop automatic SR20DET motor.

Last week my fuel pump fuse blew and the car shut off. We changed the fuse and the car started up fine.

No, occasionally when I make a turn (right or left, it doesn't matter) the car will shut off. (this usally happens right after I pull out in front of someone of course!!) Once I put it in park it will start right up but I have no idea why it is doing this.

Could the fuel pump be bad? I think it may be the stock one (I am trying to find out right now)

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

surprisingly, FSM has a diagnostic procedure for this.

1) Obviously.. check fuel level2) unplug fuel injector plug one by one. Is there single injector that does not cause your RPM to drop?3) check to make sure all injectors are clicking at idle4) check for spark on all 4 plugs. You can do this by putting a known good plug in coil pack then let the electrode touch the head (ground it) then crank the engine. Disconnect your injector plugs when you do this. You are just checking for spakr5) check for fuel pressure 36psi at idle 6) check ECU power supply and ground circuit

If you want to see your fuel pump condition... do this.

Wow, that's great! I'll give it a try!
